How do I cleanse my crystals? When should I cleanse & charge them?
Crystals can be cleansed by smudging. Palo santo and sage are typically used for smudging but, they are also endangered. Rosemary, sweetgrass, bay leaves, and pine are just as effective. Crystals can be cleansed through visualization and by anointing them with oils or agua florida/florida water. Crystals can be cleansed under running water ONLY if the crystal is safe in water (some crystals disintegrate, no water for any ending in -ite). Some crystals like clear quartz, hematite, selenite, and carnelian can be used to cleanse your crystals. Crystals can be charged by the moon, sun, crystal grids, and pure intent conveyed through spoken words or visualization. Charging crystals is a way to program them. Cleanse then charge.
It is truly beneficial to cleanse crystal jewelry before you wear it, biweekly depending on use, and during energetically intense times. I cleanse the crystals before I create the jewelry and before shipping.
It is truly all about intention and belief. Energy can move effortlessly when directed with confidence.
How do crystals work?
Everything is energy and everything is vibrating. Crystals have a similar (read identical) structure to our physical and energetic bodies. Crystals come from the earth and, they naturally vibrate at certain frequencies that correlate with different parts of our physical and energetic bodies.
